Welcome Francesco Mattei!
We wish you, your family and loved ones a Happy 2017!

This new year will mark for us the beginning of new musical adventures! As explained a few days ago, a lineup change took place within the band.
It’s time to introduce our new and talented guitar player!
You may already know him with his band Noveria or maybe you’ve seen him on stage with us since he replaced Greg during our gigs in Switzerland a bit more than a year ago.

Welcome to Francesco Mattei from Italy in the Ethernity family!
We’re proud to have him on board! We had a great time the first time we shared the stage together last year and since then, we had the chance to hang out and jam a few times together.
He worked also with Julien on the latest Noveria album, so we know already that this team works well together :-)

Here is Francesco’s statement:
I'm so excited to join and make music with those guys! They're a bunch of great musicians and such nice people to hang out with! The new record is going to be killer!

Happy New Year !!!

Lineup change
After 10 years of collaboration and good music together, we took the mutual agreement to go separate ways with Gregory Discenza as his busy schedules didn’t make it possible to work properly with us anymore.
We’d like to thank Greg for all the good things he brought us as well as on the musical level as on a human level. It’s been a good ride and we accomplished good things together. We wish him all the best in his other bands (Komah and Angel Crew) and projects!
No drama here, we remain the best friends ;-)

A new talented guitar player is now going to join Ethernity in order to keep on going on this adventure and bring you a new album (already in the making for quite some time)!

We’ll introduce him very soon!
Stay tuned!

Some news for 2010

Hi folks,

First of all we want to wish you all a Happy New Year 2010!

2009 was a good year for the band. We have worked a lot on the writing of our next album. We had a few cool gigs during the year, one of the highlights was of course the opportunity for us to play at the Spirit Of 66. This club has got a great reputation all over Europe and so many great bands have played there so we felt really honored about hitting this stage!

We also participated into the Court Circuit Contest for which we went to the finals which allowed us to play in the Botanique in Brussels. We've uploaded some pics from the show here. As you've probably noticed, we haven't won but we reached what we can call the 3rd place. Congratulation to the winning bands. Nevertheless, we've won a few prices which hopefully will help us a lot to get a step forward this year. More on that later!

Speaking about the album, we weren't ready to go into the studio during the end of last year as we've said. From a financial point of view, the band hasn't got the ideal amount of money to reach the goal we set ourselves. We really want to deliver a good album with a good production. As we have to wait a bit more, we've decided to take a few more months to work on the songs and improve them.

So during the last weeks, Julien and Nicolas have been rearranging some of the songs in their home studio. You can see pictures in the gallery by clicking here.
We'll post some vids and pics of the rehearsals and preproduction process as often as we can.

Here is a few titles of the new songs: XIII, After All Has Turned To Pain, Secret Door, Where No Thoughts Have Ever Gone, Final Masquerade, Broken Memories.

We will also be able to announce some gigs in the next days!

Stay tuned!

New live pictures added
Some pictures from our show at Road To Rock Festival in Brussels on the 7th November are added in the gallery.

Selected for the "Concours Circuit" contest finals!
We are proud to announce that we've been selected as one of the 6 finalists for the "Concours Circuit" contest. Other bands are: Dark Sensation, Morning Red, Panic Machine, Scarin'Myself and The Link. This last gig will take place at the Botanique in Brussels Saturday, December 12. Ethernity will perform on the "Orangerie" stage. We're looking forward to hitting that stage and hope to deliver a great show in those cool conditions!

You can check the "shows" page for more information.
Hope to see you all there to support us that night!

After this last planned gig, as we discussed with all the band members, we will finish our work on the next Ethernity album and plan the studio to begin the recordings. With the contest and other last minute shows, we focused our rehearsals on the gigs and now we're a bit late on our new album's planning, but don't be afraid good stuff is in the making!
We hope to be able to give you soon some good news about that!

Stay tuned,

Reminder: don't miss us for the Rock To Rock Festival on the 7th Noverber in Brussels. Ethernity will headline the night and will play a full set. We're really happy to play a bit longer on stage and propose to you a real show. Something which hasn't happened for a long time with all these openings, festivals and contests those lasts months.
Hope to see you there!

For other news, the songs for the album are really taking shape now. We're, for the moment, preparing everything for the studio and rehearsing hard to be as ready as possible. The new songs are great, more powerful, heavier, darker and more progressive than ever before. The band is really happy with its new direction. We'll try to deliver the best album as we can!

See you soon on the road!

Another date confirmed
We'll be playing at Club B52 in Eernegem (BE) on Friday 11th September with Neonfly (UK) and Aone (FR).

Hi Folks,

As some of you have asked and may have noticed, there's not more merchandising page for moment. For those who want to get some, we'll have some new EP and t-shirts with us at the festival...

I'm, for the moment, making the new Ethernity website with some new cool contents. Expect some new videos, songs, pictures and more. Still a lot of work by the way. I hope it will be finished by January.

About the Ethernity camp, we're a bit slow during the winter... We have still some new songs in the making. We hope to book some more dates during 2009. So if you have some plan or whatever feel free to contact us at

That's all for the moment. By the way the whole band wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2009!

New song to be released!
One new song will be featured on the Heavylaw compilation which will be released on March 21st 2008. Heavylaw is a french webzine who is doing his very first production with the help of Another Sphere Records. This cd will contain in majority songs from not very well known heavy/power/speed metal bands in order to help them a little. This cd will be available through the Heavylaw website ( for the price of 5€ shipping included for France and 6€ for other countries. The cd will also be sent to many record companies and labels to help the bands to be maybe signed. The song we chose is from our next demo cd and is titled "Shadows On The Wall". You can check the disography page for additional infos and tracklist.

Some News
Here are some news about the Ethernity camp. It's been a while since the last newsletter so it's time to keep you updated about what's happening in the band nowadays.

The last gigs we had went really well. It was the first shows we played with Greg, our new lead guitarist. The lineup is better than ever on stage. Greg is now really well inclued in the band as well as the perfect musician we needed as well as a new friend. We played several new songs at those concerts and people seemed to appreciate them. You can find some pictures in the gallery section of the official website.

As previously said, we are still in a writting mode for the next album. We have about 15 songs in the progress for now. We should release a Ep before the "real" album with complete different songs from the long lenght cd. This means that the 15 songs will be recorded. We plan to continue composing the songs by the summer and to start the preproduction recordings.

We won't play any gigs during the summer for several reasons :
The first is that we will be only concentrating ourselves on the new songs and the second is that our bass player, Francois, broke is is hand and won't be able to play for the next 6/8 weeks.
Our next show will be on friday September 14 in Namur, our hometown. Like last year, we'll play on this open air stage (Place de L'ange) for the Rock's Cool Night for the Wallonia Fests.

That's all for now,

Take care,

Liege Show
Yesterday's gig was great. We were very pleased to be back on stage after about 6 months. Our first concert with Greg passed very well. Sorry for the little technical problems we got with the drum pedals... The night was very cool with a lot of friends and band members from other bands! The audience was very welcoming and it was cool to speak with the all the people and sign the cds.

You can see some pics of the night in the gallery. A big thank to Mitch for the photos. You can check his website at :

Next gig is Apr. 07, NamRock Festival. Be there...

Rock your life!

Lineup changes!
We decided to go separate ways with Steve. This is after great reflexion and discussions that we thought it was better for the band not to continue with him. This was not an easy decision to take knowing that we had played more than 6 years with him, have learned playing music and founded the band together. We've been friend with him before Ethernity was created and the thing wasn't easy to say at all. The reason was that we thought he wasn't that much implicated in what we're doing. Music is, for all the other members, a passion and we all have a certain purpose with what we create. So it became, with the time, clear that it will be better for the band's progression to evolue with someone else. As we told him, we all know that for personnal reasons, his life is not that fun and easy nowadays but our decision has nothing to do with that. The problem was there for already a while. We all hope that he will not be vexed for too long. Friendship and music are two completely different things! We all wish him the best in his life and projects.

The new lead guitarist is called Gregory Discenza. We quickly called him for a try with some of the songs. After a few notes, we all agreed that he fits perfectly with us and our music. Greg is used to more extreme music as well as neo-classical stuff and so on... He's been learning music from the same school has the major part of us. So he arrived at time as the new material is darker and heavier. You can check his profile at the "band" page.

We are now doing rehearsals with him for more than a month and he has learned very quickly the songs. We improved the old songs and finished some of the new ones. So the dates will not change don't worry about that. Our first concert with Greg will be March 17th. Be there...

Album Out!
The album is finally available. You can order it from our website through the merchandise page. The cd is 54 minutes long and contain 10 tracks. You can find different type of songs on the album : tradational power metal songs such as speed and mid-tempo double bass based songs, some calmer songs, a ballad and an epic. We hope you'll enjoy the result!

New dates are coming... Stay tuned for that.

Before hitting the stages again, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Free single & album extratcts !
The wait is over! Our album is mixed and mastered. You can now download for free the single "Starlight"! As the wait was very long we made a little surprise for you. We recorded a bonus track. This song is the ballad version of the speed song "Fly Away" featured on the new album. This softer version is included in the free single which is available on our multimedia page with the full cover artworks.

Talking about the album, it will be available later this month. You'll be able to order it through our merchandise page. While waiting, you can download some samples of each songs or listen to it with our streaming mp3 player.

The whole site has also been updated. You can find some new stuffs on almost each pages! Visit or re-visit the whole website. You can find some new band pictures, new wallpapers, new lyrics,...
